Flexibility and Efficiency - Seemingly contrary goals govern joining technology development in modern car body engineering!

A growing variety of material combinations and joining situations each require the most suitable joining technology, but the complexity in the body shop should not get out of hand for reasons of cost. Just now, this conflict is further intensified with the advent of e-mobility in mass production, demanding convincing joining concepts for battery systems – and often even more flexibility in the body shop lines to accommodate all propulsio system variants.

Aiming to clarify this situation, the Automotive Circle conference "Joining in Car Body Engineering” will again discuss and document, which joining concepts have recently been implemented or are under discussion, and which progress has been made in the efficiency, performance and applicability of important joining technologies. With a large number of current progress reports from leading OEMs, innovations from important system suppliers and practice-relevant ideas from renowned research institutes, the conference will give you a well-founded overview of the state of the art in key joining technologies in current seriescar body production.
